Born in London, Jill Denbutter spent the first three years of her life living on the outskirts of England's capital city before moving to Brighstone, a small village on the rugged west coast of the Isle of Wight. Captured even as a child by the vivid beauty of her surroundings she began to draw and write at an early age; her efforts made poignant by notion that despite her Island ancestry, it's heritage was not something to which she had any direct claim.Jill now lives in Canada near Toronto with her Dutch husband and three sons.
